For cyclones used in the synthesis of trichlorosilane, the wear-resistant lining provided by Qingdao University of Science and Technology is just barely sufficient. If it is a cyclone used for cold hydrogenation, leaving aside the dust removal efficiency, its wear resistance alone may pose problems. As far as I know, Qingdao University of Science and Technology has not achieved satisfactory results using CN Energy Phase 3; in the end, CN Energy opted for Kentucky instead. And Kentucky also changed the arrangement of the cyclones, replacing two cyclones with one.

Regardless of which manufacturer’s equipment is better – (by verifying the quality several times during the production process and using spectroscopy for testing, errors in quality can be avoided) – if one relies on only one manufacturer, it’s not just a matter of higher costs.
