Why when I install CAD and select the installation path as D\Program Files, do files end up appearing on both C and D drives?
No matter what software you install, some system-related files will be installed on Drive C; the actual software files are, of course, located on Drive D.
Most of them are on drive C. There used to be a shortcut on the desktop; I don’t remember whether I deleted it or not when reinstalling it – it seems I didn’t delete it. After installation, it was ready to use right away, but I couldn’t find this executable file on drive D; I found it on drive C instead
Can it be used right after downloading? Then why install it?
Did I say it would be ready to use after it’s finished? How come I can’t remember?
It was a mistake; it’s just a fake setup, and the original shortcut will work again after that

Then check to see if you really chose D; it’s possible that you selected it but then clicked cancel or something. Uninstall it and reinstall it. If the problem persists, it means that the PJ version you downloaded only works when installed on drive C
Also, from what you say it seems like it was originally installed on drive C; perhaps you didn’t erase it completely, and reinstalling it actually serves as a form of repair. In short, if it doesn’t work, reinstall it after cleaning everything thoroughly
Thank you so much. I didn’t know how to do it either; drives D and F were there, so I deleted them. I didn’t check drive C. When selecting the path, I made sure to choose D. But after installation, the space on drive D became very limited. Should I just use it as is? Could frequent uninstallations create junk files that affect the computer’s speed?
