Income varies from place to place; perhaps your salary is quite good where you are. Even if it were doubled, it might not be as good as what you have now if you moved to another place!
I feel the same. I don’t know why I chose the chemical engineering major back then; I also don’t know why I ended up pursuing a career in design~
Personally, I think enjoying what you do is more important than income.
Post your pay slip – let everyone help you analyze whether it’s bad or not. Maybe once it’s posted, everyone will envy you; who knows?
In fact, income mainly depends on the local average income level and housing prices; earning 4,000–5,000 per month in a small city is better than earning over 10,000 per month in Beijing

If a small town can offer 6k, it might be worth considering not changing locations, at least for the next 5 years
Other than money, if you enjoy doing it, there’s no need to change it. Earning more money when you’re stressed all the time is pointless
