Review meeting for the feasibility study report on coal-to-natural gas project by China Power Investment held

On April 28, 2012, a review meeting for the feasibility study report of the China Power Investment Huocheng and Yinan coal-to-natural gas projects was held in Beijing. At the meeting, the experts present evaluated and reviewed the feasibility study reports for the Huocheng and Yinan coal-to-natural gas projects, and discussed the project’s processes and utility systems in groups. The expert group gave full recognition to the scope and depth of the feasibility study report for the Huocheng and Yinan coal-to-natural gas projects, as well as to the market analysis, process technology and utility solutions, investment estimates, and financial analysis. It also offered suggestions and recommendations on related issues.
The project of China Power Investment has been in preparation for a long time, and significant progress has been made; it is hoped that the process can be accelerated so that approval can be obtained as soon as possible
It was inevitable that it would be approved in this 12·5 plan; it was merely a matter of time

I hope it will be approved soon. Xinjiang needs significant development, and the vigorous advancement of coal chemical projects can help address the issues of numerous small-scale coal mines in the region, chaotic mining practices, substantial waste of coal resources, and spontaneous combustion.
Was the feasibility study for these two projects done by Donghua? ? ? ?

The design institute is Sanyuan (Anhui Donghua), and the gasifier is a GSP gasifier.
It is recommended to use a coal pulverization pressurized gasification furnace, as this can reduce the overall energy consumption.
