What is the purpose of installing a bypass line on a pump? Why does the liquefied gas tank extraction pump A/B have a bypass line only on pump B, but not on pump A? Bypass: It can be used as a purge line when the unit is shut down. At the same time, if there is a problem with the pump, it can also be removed. For anti-freezing and anti-condensation purposes, pre-heating lines are generally used; this is a different concept from bypass systems. In a reciprocating pump, the component used to adjust flow rate should be called the return line. The A/B pumps of the original poster should share the same bypass line; in other words, the pump for B should be part of the A/B pump system.
Agree with the person above. The auxiliary line is called a connection line; it serves to isolate the pump and purge lines when shutdown occurs. What is exported are pre-heaters and heat pumps.
