What are the requirements for selecting instruments in factories, and what needs to be taken into consideration?
1. It meets the actual operational needs of factories, and its performance is reliable. 2. Low maintenance requirements 3. Long service life 4. Minimum cost with optimal performance (cost-performance ratio) 5. Reputable manufacturers 6. Widespread use within the industry. These are merely my humble opinions; I’m just trying to provide some input to stimulate further discussion – I hope experts can offer their guidance!

I completely agree with the suggestion from the second floor! My opinion is that—whether you are a process engineer or an instrumentation technician—you should consider the users and maintainers when making a selection. If precision is the only goal in a manufacturing process, the cost of instruments rises; the more sophisticated they are, the greater the maintenance requirements, which consumes both labor and money. I think it’s necessary to put forward one’s own requirements regarding the technology, allowing the instrumentation staff to make their own choices, based on the principles of cost-effectiveness and suitability.
First, it is necessary to understand what goals the process needs to achieve; then, taking into account the equipment and industrial conditions, the brand must have a proven track record, and the model must be suitable for one’s own operational environment
