I have a question regarding the coke tower. Thank you. . . . What is the purpose of connecting the large oil and gas lines to the coke oven? . . . . . . Please let me know. . . . Thank you. . . . . .

You mean the breathing valve, right? A breathing valve is used to expel air and to release water.

What he meant was probably the pipeline that connects the breathing valve to the coke oven chamber, right? The pipeline that carries water to the coking tank isn’t connected to the main oil and gas line either!
I’ve really never encountered a situation where a large oil and gas pipeline is connected to the decoking tank. First, figure out exactly which pipeline leads to the decoking tank; that way, everyone can discuss this issue with you
It should be the breather valve line; currently, in many newly built installations, the breather valves, drain valves, and large oil and gas valves are all located on a single platform, arranged together.
