Valve model, Valve specifications, Valve material: Z41W-16Pc, Gate valve, PN1.6, DN65, RF, CF3/304L. As stated in the question, what does the material code “Pc” in the valve model mean? I know that P stands for 18-8 austenitic stainless steel, but what does the “c” after it mean? By the same logic, there is also: Z61W-40Pb gate valve PN40 DN20 SW 304L/304L. How should “Pb” be understood?
Is this the manufacturer’s own naming convention based on 308, for reference only?
This is the design documentation from the design institute; many valve models are like this. . . Design institutes should be named in accordance with the naming standard rules, right?
This Pb should be a special code. The “c” at the end indicates that the valve body is made of cast steel.
PN1.6 is the pressure rating; WN denotes a valve with a neck; SW refers to a socket-type valve; RF means convex surface; DN is the nominal diameter. The code Z41W seems to be the valve model
