Due to operational errors, slight carbon deposition has occurred in the conversion catalysts in our plant. We are currently maintaining a high steam supply level while operating at low load. Are there any requirements regarding the temperature of the conversion furnace during the carbon removal process? Does it need to be lower than usual?
Low processing volume, high water-carbon ratio, high control at the furnace outlet!
High temperatures are favorable for the decarburization reaction, but they must not exceed the design temperature!
But with higher temperatures, doesn’t the carbon deposition reaction also intensify?
