I would like to ask whether the amount of cold hydrogen used in the reactor of the hydrogenation unit should be included in the hydrogen-to-oil ratio
Check whether the hydrogen-to-oil ratio refers to that at the reactor inlet; if so, it does not need to be included
Generally, cold hydrogen is injected into the lower bed of the hydrogenation reactor, and it is not taken into account in the calculation of the hydrogen-to-oil ratio
Check which flow meter is being used to measure the flow rate of the recycled hydrogen; if fresh hydrogen is included in that measurement, then it may not be necessary to add fresh hydrogen. Also, determine where the sample for measuring the purity of the recycled hydrogen is taken from
Our device is not included in the calculation
It needs to be considered in segments; when calculating the hydrogen-to-oil ratio at the reactor inlet, the amount of recycled hydrogen used in the calculation must take into account the amount of cold hydrogen； When calculating the hydrogen-to-oil ratio of the reaction bed, the amount of recycled hydrogen used in the calculation must take into account the amount of cold hydrogen from all beds below that bed.
The hydrogen-to-oil ratio in our system refers to the ratio of recycled hydrogen to feed oil, and it has nothing to do with fresh hydrogen or cold hydrogen.
