Reasons for the high oxygen content in recycled hydrogen
Under the reaction conditions in units such as hydrocrackers, if oxygen were present in the feedstock, it would have long reacted with hydrogen to form water. If the oxygen content is detected in the sampled cyclic hydrogen, it is likely that air has entered during sampling or analysis.
Is it electrolyzed water? The analyzer needs to be zeroed out; there is too much oxygen in the hydrogen, so it’s necessary to wait for the temperature to rise and to adjust the pressure and flow rate appropriately.
