It is estimated that about ten thousand tons of etherification capacity might still interest some manufacturers. As for a hydrogenation plant with a capacity of 400,000 tons, and one that is designed for processing light oils, the low processing volume means that the pressure tolerance requirements are low and the materials used are relatively standard; therefore, there are hardly any manufacturers interested in such a plant.
