Our sulfur production furnace is of Duke brand; it hasn’t even been turned on since it was first put into use, seven years ago. During the major maintenance work, I took a look inside and found that the construction quality is excellent. I’ve never used domestic-made furnaces; it seems that nowadays imported and domestic furnaces are more or less similar in terms of performance. The key factors are the stability of the flame and the reliability of ignition, as well as the uniformity of material mixing.
In terms of design philosophy, foreign designs are rigorous with little margin for error; they are expensive, require high precision, and offer limited flexibility in operation.
