I’ve noticed that the units specified by the design institute for parameters such as purified water and lean solution are inconsistent. I’d like to discuss with everyone what appropriate units should be used for these parameters in our operating procedures For example, regarding the standards for purified water, some specify H2S≤20ppm while others use mg/l – so what exactly constitutes the standard?
The unit for purity indicators of water is generally mg/l. Moreover, when conducting analysis, it generally refers not just to H2S, but to sulfides as a whole. The lean liquid is an H2S parameter, with the unit being G/L
