Hello, Sea Friends! What is the actual external wall temperature of your main furnace when it is operating normally?
I remember there used to be a requirement that it had to be no lower than 200°C.
We have a project in which the designed operating temperature for the outer wall of the housing is not less than 220°C. Due to prolonged operation at low load, the outer wall temperature is only around 170. The acid dew point is calculated to be 161°C.
Yes, it should be in the range of 220-250; this is mainly to prevent corrosion caused by low temperatures! Then you can increase the reactor temperature by adding more fuel gas!
Ask the furnace manufacturer; the specific parameters range from around 150 to 250. The influencing factors include combustion temperature, the thickness of the refractory material and insulation layer, etc
