Our sulfur production facility uses the Claus reaction to produce sulfur, and all operators working there must hold a special permit for operating oxidation processes before starting work. I checked, and typical oxidation processes among those subject to strict supervision do not include the sulfur production process via the Claus reaction. Are there any other standards that require such a permit?
