I would like to ask the teacher: During the installation of the air compression unit (motor-driven) in an air separation plant, the drive motor and cooler were lifted into place (without proper alignment). When the compressor itself was installed, issues were found with the foundation. As a result, the drive motor, cooler, and compressor were removed from the factory building to address the foundation problems. When they were lifted back in place, the installation company requested payment for the costs associated with the first installation phase. They quoted a price using Sinopec’s budgetary standards for petrochemical installation projects, but these standards cover the cost of completing the entire installation process, whereas only part of the installation had been carried out. How should the cost be calculated in such a situation?
