We need to use a storage tank with a capacity of 20 cubic meters for ferrous sulfate solution. From what I’ve read online, this substance tends to oxidize easily. Are there any colleagues who have experience with this and know how to store it properly? Are there any special requirements regarding the storage tank?
Ferrous sulfate... Isn’t this a strong oxidizing agent? Should fiberglass be used?

Ferrous sulfate solution can be stored in 304 stainless steel, but care must be taken to prevent the intrusion of chloride ions. Organic materials such as PP can also be used. What do you use ferrous sulfate for?

Ferrous ions will inevitably oxidize; the key is to determine to what extent a low concentration of ferric ions is required. I have some experience in controlling the oxidation of ferrous ions.
If I apply a nitrogen blanket to the storage tank and place it in a cool location, will that help to inhibit the oxidation of ferrous sulfate?
