Regarding the distance between oil depots and roads outside the depot

In accordance with Article 18 of the Regulations on Highway Safety Protection, except for those sites and facilities established in accordance with **relevant regulations for refueling vehicles, it is prohibited to set up sites and facilities for producing, storing, or selling flammable, explosive, highly toxic, radioactive, and other hazardous materials within the following areas: (1) 100 meters outward from the outer edge of the highway land. According to Clause 4.0.10 of the Design Code for Oil Depots GB 50074-2014, the safety distance between oil depots and traffic routes outside the depots is specified; for example, a first-class oil depot is required to maintain a distance of 25 meters from roads. Friends who have encountered such problems when designing oil depots should take this into consideration during site selection in accordance with the Requirements of the Highway Safety Protection Regulations; if this isn’t taken into account at that time, a significant amount of space will need to be set aside, and generally the property owners are unwilling to do so.
If I remember correctly, this regulation seemed to be amended later, and the mention of 100 meters outward from the edge of the road land was no longer included. Rather, it is to meet the spacing requirements specified in relevant standards.
Highways refer to expressways or national highways, as opposed to roadways within industrial parks or ordinary roads
Generally, oil storage facility sites are not located in chemical industrial parks, and there are companies of various levels along the access roads, making it difficult to determine the grade of these roads.
