The urea twin towers for the Jiujiang Xinlianxin project were lifted into place. Author/Source: Jiujiang Xinlianxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd. Date: May 21, 2020. Clicks: 23. At 8:30 a.m. on May 20, after safety and technical instructions were given at the construction site for the urea hydrolysis tower as part of the urea sub-project of the Jiujiang Xinlianxin project, the tower was slowly raised once the rigger gave the command to lift it. A 350T crawler crane is used as the main crane, while a 150T crawler crane is used as the auxiliary crane. After nearly 50 minutes of work by Erhua Jian Company, the hydrolysis tower was successfully installed at 9:20. Chen Min, assistant to the general manager of Jiujiang Company, Zhang Dexin, deputy manager of the project department, Xu Huihui, deputy director of the sixth factory, Wang Changsheng, head of the process team, as well as Wang Yanjun from the safety and environmental protection team and the Zhongda supervisor, provided on-site guidance for the equipment lifting. On May 12, after completing the lifting of the first and second distillation towers, Erhua Construction actively coordinated the arrival of a 350-ton crawler crane. To ensure quality, meet deadlines, and safeguard safety at the construction site, they worked overtime to assemble the 350-ton crawler crane. On the 19th, the 350-ton crawler crane was ready for lifting operations. Sinochem Second Construction carried out thorough planning and careful organization; it provided technical instructions and assigned tasks in advance prior to lifting the hydrolysis tower. This ensured that the lifting crew had a full understanding of the equipment’s size, structural features, weight, as well as the key operational procedures and precautions during the lifting process. Attention was also paid to protecting the finished product, and the entire lifting operation was carried out in an orderly manner. The hydrolysis tower is the core equipment in the urea wastewater treatment system. The successful installation of this tower marks the completion of the installation of both towers in this system, and it also signals the beginning of the process of installing the larger equipment in the urea production facility, thus sounding the alarm for the final stages of urea plant installation.
