Absorption and purification towers are widely used in various processes of absorption and purification across industries such as chemical engineering, electrical and electronic fields, copper and zinc smelting, and industrial production. There are many different structural designs for these towers, with vertical packed towers and plate towers being the most commonly used. With the advancement of technology, VOC adsorption catalytic combustion has been developed. I. Overview: Absorption and purification towers are widely used in various fields such as chemical industry, electrical and electronic engineering, copper and zinc smelting, and industrial production for absorption and purification processes. There are many different structural designs for such towers, with vertical packed towers and plate towers being the most commonly used. With the advancement of technology, people have begun to seek energy-saving, efficient, and automatically controlled absorption purification devices that can be used in various forms and settings. In practical applications, due to site and space constraints, vertical purification towers are not suitable for installation as they are tall and large in volume. Our company has recently developed a horizontal-type absorption and purification tower, which reduces the space required in terms of height and increases the flexibility of installation. The main harmful gases handled include sulfuric acid mist, hydrochloric acid mist, chromic acid mist, nitric acid mist, phosphoric acid mist, hydrofluoric acid mist, hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide, etc. II. Working Principle: The gas outside the tower enters the tower and then reaches the packing layer. Sprayed liquid from above and from ahead reaches this packing layer, forming a liquid film on it. As the gas flows through the gaps in the packing, it comes into contact with this liquid film and undergoes absorption or neutralization reactions. After these processes, the gas is discharged from the tower through the outlet. The liquid on the liquid film flows into the reservoir under the force of gravity, and is pumped out for circulation by a circulation pump. III. Structure and Features This tower consists of a tower body, a liquid distributor, a grid, a packing layer, a demister, a liquid storage tank, various connections, and observation ports among other accessories. This new type of taco is equipped with a control system that includes a gas analyzer, pH controller, differential pressure transmitter, pressure sensor, flow sensor, conductivity meter, level controller, solenoid valve, frequency converter, and control cabinet. The automatic control device can monitor the operating status of this product 24/7, enabling automated management.
