First, remove the bolts securing the pump body’s base and the rear cover of the pump, then take the pump body apart. During this disassembly process, it is necessary to apply some kerosene or loosening agent, and in some cases, a hammer can be used to tap on the nuts, with the aim of removing the rust layer so that the bolts can be turned more easily. Furthermore, at the connection point between the pump body and the pump cover, where the bolts used to secure the pump cover are located, rusting is particularly severe. Since this area is fragile, it cannot be struck with a hammer; instead, only gentle rotation is possible, which makes disassembly quite difficult.
