It is a BB1 single-stage split-case double-suction pump with a flow rate of 1900, head of 35, speed of 1450, and power of 250 KW. The center height of the pump is 700. At the rated flow rate, the JB standard requires vibration levels to be below 2.8 mm/s. The base is fixed, the test piping is fixed as well, the coupling is aligned, the bearing housings at both ends are reinforced, and the impeller has been dynamically balanced. The hydraulic flow channels have also been checked; the axial position of the bearing end faces is around 3.8 mm/s at the upper end (and 2.6 mm/s at the lower end), and this value won’t go any lower. There’s no other option but to lower the requirements and ask the customer to accept it as it is. Do any of you have experience in this area? Please share some suggestions
Both the pump body foot plane and the base plane are machined in one operation; the bolt tightening torque should be applied according to the specified values, and there should be no weak spots

The pump itself has been checked, and no abnormalities were found. Which brand of bearings are being used currently? Try replacing them
In my humble opinion, since centering and dynamic balancing have been done, has the stress check on the pump’s inlet and outlet flanges been carried out? What about lubricants? Also, the power of 250KW is quite high; could it be a problem on the motor side? Furthermore, is there any deviation of the medium from normal operating conditions, such as factors related to component composition, gasification, and startup conditions? Well, the requirement of 2.8 is really high; we’ve always followed SHS01003, which is 4.5:lol
What are the inlet and outlet pressures of your pump? What is the pipe diameter? What is the current operating power?
