I would like to ask: if a problem is detected with the pump and it needs to be removed for repair, this process can take a long time, which may lead to severe rusting of the machined surfaces. (The normal process is that, once the testing is successful, it proceeds directly to the surface treatment and painting stage.) I’ve told the workshop that it’s necessary to apply oil to the surface for protection. The workshop thinks that since there are further tests and surface treatment to be done later, it’s not necessary. I would like to ask everyone: has anyone encountered this situation?
