It is important to enhance quality awareness and promote high-quality development. ----------------------------------------- Recently, the first set of domestic dry-process equipment for improving the quality of lime, developed by the Tangshan Research Institute of China Coal Science, was successfully tested and put into use at Shandong Yuxin Nanotechnology Co., Ltd. This marks a new breakthrough for the dry coal sorting technology and equipment developed by the Tangshan Research Institute in non-coal industries. During the calcination of quicklime, a certain proportion of under-burnt lime and over-burnt lime is produced, which reduces the activity of the quicklime, affects the quality of this product, and hinders companies from improving their economic efficiency. To address the issues of high levels of underburned and overburned lime, the Tangshan Research Institute adheres to a market-oriented and customer-centered approach. Building on traditional dry separation technologies and equipment, it has achieved breakthrough innovations and successfully developed a complete set of dry separation equipment suitable for improving the quality of quicklime. This equipment can increase the activity of quicklime from 260 ml/4N-HCl to 360–380 ml/4N-HCl, resulting in a significant improvement in quality; it greatly enhances the product quality and brings substantial economic benefits to the enterprise. As the pioneer of dry coal washing technology in China, Tangshan Research Institute has, over the years, continuously implemented the group company’s overall development strategy of “1245,” accelerated the expansion of coal washing technology into non-coal sectors, and taken solid steps toward innovation-driven development in those areas. In the future, the Tangshan Research Institute will adhere to integrity and innovation, and make further progress in technological innovation in various fields such as intelligent coal sorting, underground coal processing, non-coal mines, and emerging sectors.
