2 billion yuan! Construction begins on Zhongzhe Group’s high-end new materials project. On January 2, 2025, the new materials project, for which Zhongzhe Group has invested 3 billion yuan, officially commenced construction in the Lingang New Materials Industrial Park in Xiapu Sub-district, Beilun District, Ningbo. 　　The high-end new materials project of Zhongzhe Group has a total investment of 3 billion yuan and an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons; it is the first project of Zhongzhe Group that integrates production with trade. The syndiotactic styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) and low-cis butadiene rubber (LCBR) produced by this project will meet the demands of new energy vehicles for green, high-performance tires. They will not only enable domestic substitution but also fill the gap in green, high-performance tire materials in Zhejiang Province. 　　Zhongzhe Group also signed a school-enterprise cooperation agreement with the \"Academician Team Innovation Center for High-Performance Synthetic Materials\" at Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
