First-ranked bidder: China National Second Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. On July 16, the tender announcement for the first phase of the 100,000-ton annual green methanol production project of Zhongke Nengyuan Chemistry (Gansu) Co., Ltd. was released. The scope of the tender includes: (1) a hydrogen production plant with an annual output of 13,500 tons through electrolysis of water, along with accompanying hydrogen storage equipment and oxygen storage equipment ; (2) A biomass gasification plant with an annual processing capacity of 150,000 tons, including biomass gasification, gas purification, purification, and shift units ; (3) Annual production capacity of 100,000 tons (60,000 tons in Phase 1 and 40,000 tons in Phase 2) for green methanol synthesis, distillation, and storage facilities ; (4) Explosion-proof, lightning protection, anti-static, and fire-fighting facilities ; (5) 5,000 square meters of office buildings, laboratories, duty rooms, and other production support facilities. On August 19, the first public notice regarding the environmental impact assessment for the 100,000-ton-per-year green methanol production project of Zhongke Chemical Green Energy Development (Gansu) Co., Ltd. was released. Basic Information of the Project: Project Name: Annual Production Project of 100,000 Tons of Green Methanol. Nature of Construction: New construction. Constructor: Zhongke Chemical Green Energy Development (Gansu) Co., Ltd. Project Investment: The total investment for this project is 1,050 million yuan. Location of Construction: Minle Industrial Park, Gansu. Scope of Construction: A project for producing 100,000 tons of green methanol per year (including the processes of water electrolysis for hydrogen production and the synthesis of green methanol), as well as storage systems, loading stations, and associated utility facilities and auxiliary equipment. Zhongke Nengyuan Chemistry (Gansu) Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Zhongke Chemistry Green Energy Development (Gansu) Co., Ltd.) was established in 2025 and is located in Zhangye City, Gansu Province. It is a company that focuses on the promotion and application of scientific and technological solutions. The registered capital of the company is 20 million RMB. The shareholders of Zhongke Nengyuan include Beijing Xingnengyuanju Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongke Huahydrogen (Hubei) Technology Co., Ltd., and Minle County Jindi Ecological Agriculture Technology Development Co., Ltd. On August 1, an announcement was released regarding the results of the energy-saving assessment and capacity replacement process for China Energy’s annual production project of 100,000 tons of green methanol; the supplier selected was Gansu Android Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. On July 28, the results of the environmental impact assessment for China Energy’s project to produce 100,000 tons of green methanol per year were announced; the supplier selected was Gansu Andro Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.
