The 10KV substation for the acrylic acid project at Shandong Lanwan New Materials successfully received power for the first time

The 10KV substation for Shandong Lanwan New Materials Co., Ltd.’s 200,000 tons per year acrylic acid production project was successfully powered up on November 15. The construction of this substation was carried out by the Shandong branch of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s Sixth Construction Company. The project is located in the Economic Development Zone of Dongying City, Shandong Province, with a total investment of 6 billion yuan. It mainly involves the construction of facilities for producing 1 million tons per year of acrylamide, 380,000 tons per year of polyacrylamide, 360,000 tons per year of superabsorbent resins, and 240,000 tons per year of acrylic acid and acrylates. Upon completion, the project will become the largest production base for water-soluble polymer materials in the country, thereby facilitating a comprehensive shift of the propylene industry chain toward higher-value-added areas and further enhancing the regional industry’s competitiveness and overall efficiency.
