On November 14, with the pouring of the final batch of concrete completed, the framework of the polymerization unit, which is the core facility of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation’s 10,000-ton carbon fiber project at Donghua Energy (Maoming), was successfully capped one day ahead of schedule. The achievement of this key milestone has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent equipment installation work. The aggregate processing facility has a construction area of 2,830.2 square meters, with a total length of 48 meters, a width of 26 meters, and a building height of 27 meters. It constitutes a project of considerable scale and high risk. The project team organized an expert review meeting for the special construction plan, inviting several senior experts to conduct a thorough assessment of the plan’s safety and feasibility. Based on the experts’ recommendations, key aspects such as the support system and load calculations were optimized and refined on multiple occasions, thereby ensuring the reliability and safety of the technical plan from the outset and providing a solid theoretical and technical foundation for subsequent construction work. Since the start of construction, the project team has consistently adhered to scientific planning of construction arrangements, carefully evaluated various construction options, and strictly followed the requirements for standardized construction and meticulous management. To accelerate the construction progress, the project team launched a \"100-Day Sprint Campaign,\" adopting a strategy of setting goals, assigning personnel, and calculating work efficiency. The construction deadlines were broken down into specific targets for each work team, and further detailed to individual workers, thereby sparking a surge in construction activity. The project team overcame various challenges such as a tight schedule, shortages of drawings and materials, and a complex construction environment, and successfully achieved the set milestones. Next, the project team will strictly adhere to the scheduled milestones and accelerate the subsequent work of equipment installation and pipeline laying, making every effort to ensure that these tasks are completed on time, to the required quality standards, and in the required quantity, thereby speeding up the overall progress of the project.
