Recently, the environmental impact assessment for Qizhou Green Chemicals (Jining) Co., Ltd.’s project to expand production capacity by 20,000 tons per year of precise glyphosate was made public on relevant websites. The developer, Qizhou Green Chemicals (Jining) Co., Ltd., plans to invest 72 million yuan to renovate and expand the facility within its site in the Jining New Materials Industry Park for this project – a capacity expansion project to produce 20,000 tons per year of glyphosate amine. This project is an expansion and technical upgrade initiative carried out within the existing glyphosate production facility. It involves adding approximately 40 units of equipment, such as reaction vessels, MVR units, heat exchangers, centrifuges, and various material pumps, to the existing setup. Once completed, it will enable an increase in production capacity for glyphosate by 20,000 tons per year (on a solid basis); the production of both solid form and aqueous solutions can be adjusted according to market demands, with by-products being generated as a side product. Qizhou Green Chemical (Jining) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Qizhou Green Chemical Co., Ltd.; it was established on March 12, 2019, and its registered address is in the Jining New Materials Industrial Park, Hujи Town, Jinxiang County.
