On December 27, with the final 8,800-cubic-meter liquefied gas sphere tank accurately hoisted into place and its assembly and completion successfully carried out, the main installation work for the sphere tank area of the first phase of the Loibito Refinery project in Angola by the Northwest Branch of Erhua Jian was successfully completed. The achievement of this critical milestone marks a decisive breakthrough in the construction of the project’s storage tanks, laying a solid foundation for the further progress of the project. The 4 8,800-cubic-meter liquefied gas storage tanks that have been assembled this time are among the largest and most technically demanding core storage tank units in the Lobito refinery project ; It is also the largest LPG spherical tank known in China at present. Since the full-scale on-site assembly of this spherical tank area began on November 5, the project team, through meticulous supply planning, an efficient combination of prefabrication domestically and final assembly on site, as well as the integration of international standards with local practices, completed the entire process from material inspection to on-site assembly, fitting, and precision control in just 52 days – achieving high standards and efficiency, and demonstrating outstanding capabilities in cross-border resource integration and high-quality project execution.
