On December 25, 2025, the million-ton carbon capture project of Yanchang Petroleum began construction in the Yueneng Chemical Industry Park in Jingbian, Yulin, Shaanxi. Achieving carbon dioxide sequestration and utilization while improving oil recovery rates will effectively reduce regional carbon emission intensity, providing important support for the efficient and sustainable development of oil fields.
