In the first phase, one set of equipment for aromaticization and product purification with an annual capacity of 400,000 tons, one set of equipment for aromatic compound extraction and distillation with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons, one set of PSA hydrogen production equipment with a capacity of 15,000 m³/h, one set of equipment for producing green chemical materials with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons, along with various auxiliary facilities necessary for the operation of the entire project, will be constructed; In the second phase, one anhydride production plant with an annual capacity of 70,000 tons and one plant for producing new green chemical materials with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons will be built. The main products include hydrogen, ethane, propane, benzene, toluene, mixed xylene, and environmentally friendly plasticizers. Milestone: January 5, 2026 – First public announcement regarding the project for producing hydrogen from aromatics and developing new green chemical materials (environmental impact assessment announcement). November 14, 2025 – The project for producing hydrogen from aromatics and developing new green chemical materials was registered with the Guangdong Development and Reform Commission (project registration)
