In February, an announcement was issued for the negotiation and procurement of the complete set of technologies and equipment for the air separation unit under the EPC contract for Jiyuan Siping’s 200,000 tons per year green methanol project. China Five Rings Engineering Co., Ltd.’s 200,000 tons per year green methanol project in Jiyuan Siping _ EPC turnkey contract; the funding for this project has been secured. The complete set of technologies and equipment required for the air separation unit in this 200,000 tons per year green methanol project in Jiyuan Siping _ EPC turnkey contract is now ready for negotiation and procurement (Procurement Number: 23116-CPM0100-PP). The purchaser is China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., and public negotiation procurement is currently being carried out. Scope of procurement: A complete set of technologies and equipment for air separation units, 1 set in total; details are provided in the technical section of the tender documents. On January 12th, the signing ceremony and kick-off meeting for the chemical EPC project related to the production of green hydrogen and bio-based methanol through wind and solar power in Lishu, carried out by Jidian Shares, was held in Wuhan. The company’s director, general manager, and deputy party secretary Lu, as well as Yu Xin, the party secretary and chairman of China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd. This project utilizes the technology of \"producing green hydrogen through electrolysis of new energy sources\" in combination with \"producing syngas via biomass gasification\"; through processes such as purification and methanol synthesis, it aims to produce 197,000 tons of high-purity methanol per year. The gasification unit operates on a single-series basis, as do the purification unit and the methanol production unit. The hydrogen production capacity of the water electrolysis system is 32,000 Nm3/h, with an average hydrogen supply rate of 13,600 Nm3/h. Biocarbon gasification unit: A new gasifier with a processing capacity of 43.94 t/h will be installed, offering a gas production capacity of 87.77 t/h. The gasification unit consists of processes such as grinding, pressurization and feeding, gasification, slag removal, and black water treatment. Ningxia Shenyao Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid for the scope of work related to the design services for the biomass gasification process, as well as the procurement of patented and proprietary equipment for this project.
