Shenma’s adiponitrile project postponed until the end of the year 2026-03-02 14:28:44 On February 27, Shenma Industrial Co., Ltd. issued a statement stating that its board of directors had approved a resolution regarding the postponement of certain funded investment projects. It was decided to delay the expected date of operation for the “Hydrogen and Ammonia Project for the Nylon Chemical Industry” as well as the “50,000 tons per year adiponitrile project” to June 30, 2026, and December 31, 2026, respectively. The announcement states that the reason for the delay in the 50,000 tons per year adiponitrile project is that it is currently in the trial production phase; this is a technology-innovation project that requires further upgrades and modifications in the future. During the trial production phase, the company will gradually increase the production load, carry out adjustments to process parameters and verify equipment stability, with the goal of reaching the designed annual production capacity of 50,000 tons as soon as possible.
