Upgrading project for Hebei Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd.’s production capacity to 600 million Nm3 of hydrogen per year. This project is located within the premises of Hebei Zhengyuan Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. in the Lingang Economic and Technological Development Zone of Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, and it was funded and constructed by that company. The project is constructed in two phases. The first phase involves the gasification and purification sections; in the gasification section, new equipment such as cyclone separators, low-pressure flash vapor stripping towers, feed pumps, and low-pressure ash water pumps are added, while the fiber separator is upgraded. Additionally, the internal components of the gasification furnace and coal grinding units are modified. The purification section mainly adds equipment such as an unshifted preheater, a condensate heater, a low-pressure evaporation condenser, a condensate booster pump, and shift gas cooler heat exchangers, and modifies the internal components of the scrubber tower, CO2 desorption tower, and H2S concentration tower. The second is the product (hydrogen, carbon monoxide) purification section. Among them, a new buffer tank is added for CO membrane separation ； The PSA hydrogen production section mainly involves the upgrading of the gas-liquid separator, adsorber, and desorbed gas buffer tank ； A new set of cooling units has been added. This project uses coal as a raw material to produce hydrogen (as a co-product along with carbon monoxide). Upon completion of the project, it will produce 600 million Nm3 of hydrogen per year, along with 180 million Nm3 per year of a mixed gas of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in a 1:1 ratio (normally 0; the amount of hydrogen produced decreases in proportion as carbon monoxide is produced). The total investment for the project is 338,529,500 yuan.
