For an oil drum weighing 170 kilograms, it’s troublesome to pump out the oil using a manual pump, so I want to switch to an electric pump. How to choose the right model, how to determine the size, which manufacturer is better? Some senior colleague, please help solve this.
It is appropriate to choose a gear pump with a flow rate of around 5 L per minute, with rubber hoses for the inlet and outlet

Actually, it’s not easy to pump it out either. We’ve tried this method as well, but initially there needs to be oil in the pump. Our people are reluctant to go through the hassle, so you can use two external thread fittings with ball valves attached to them – one connected to the oil drain port and the other to the air release port. Then, use a sling to hold it and tilt it slowly by hand; it’s quite fast – less than ten minutes per bucket

Choosing a pump is too extravagant; if the oil extractor isn’t working well, just use one of those manual types instead
Pneumatic diaphragm pumps, pneumatic bucket pumps, and electric bucket pumps are all suitable
