Q235B steel plates cannot be used to manufacture Class III pressure vessels. Which standard contains this regulation?

No standard was found to contain such a provision; however, due to other relevant regulations, Q235B is very rarely used in Class III pressure vessels – at least not yet...
1. Q235 is not used as steel for pressure vessels under w conditions, and this seems to be the trend. 2. Class III containers either have high pressure or involve media with a high degree of hazard. Appendix D, section 150.2 stipulates that it cannot be used in cases where the pressure is greater than 1.6 MPa or where the medium poses an extremely high level of hazard. Standards are not engineering regulations nor design guidelines; they aren’t that detailed. The requirement of 150 increases the safety factor for Q235 and adds additional inspection requirements – you should understand what this means.
There’s no standard that requires this, but who is still using Q235 steel plates for Class III containers in their designs these days? In fact, Q235 steel isn’t much cheaper than other steel plates used for pressure vessels; nowadays, steel is available at very low prices

Well, indeed that statement isn’t precise; look at the charts in the capacity regulations – generally the pressure doesn’t exceed 1.6. If it’s classified as category three, then the volume is quite large

I currently only know that it cannot be used in Class III pressure vessels, but I can’t find any evidence for this, so please help me – many hands make light work.
