Differences between ABC types of studs in NB/T47027-2012

NB/T47027-2012 specifies three types of fasteners for pressure vessel flanges: A, B, and C. How should these three types be selected for use? What’s the difference? Thank you!
Personally, I think that in cases where the load conditions are quite severe, it is best to choose type B. Choose type C when the bolt is short.
Why is this? And how is length measured?

This is my personal understanding for reference only: Type A is suitable for normal operating conditions; if there’s nothing special, just use Type A； Type B, being a thin rod, is suitable for low-temperature operating conditions ； Type C fully threaded design is suitable for containers under high pressure.
