I need to set up a vacuum evaporation apparatus for aqueous solutions, and this will require a vacuum pump with an evacuation rate of around 1000 L/min. I’m initially considering rotary vane pumps; I would appreciate it if experts could recommend some brands. Of course, other types of pumps are also acceptable
Edward’s is obviously amazing. Is it appropriate for the oil pump to draw water? If too much water is drawn, the hydraulic oil will be damaged

Agree with the person above; if the gas being pumped does not contain non-condensable gases, it is recommended to use a claw-type vacuum pump or a vacuum unit
If there is no non-condensable gas, a dry-type system can be considered, but I recommend a water-ring type
Claw pumps (dry vacuum pumps) are suitable for high vacuum levels; a distillation apparatus equipped with such pumps is considered very sophisticated. It is recommended to use a vertical oil-free vacuum pump! If the evaporated material does not produce wastewater when in contact with water, then a water jet pump is still the better choice
