How many watts are required per square meter for heating with a hot water boiler in the upper floors of a hospital building in Hunan province? Thank you!

Considering that you are in Hunan Province, we will assume an area of 10,000 square meters. With 0.7MW equal to 700,000W, that means each square meter requires approximately 70W of power. It can only be an approximate estimate; if you really want to understand the actual situation, please refer to the HVAC systems of similar buildings in the area. It seems you are asking about 65,000 square meters. As a similar example, a hospital in Shandong uses hot water boilers with a capacity of 8 tons; the building area of that hospital is 64,000 square meters. In Hunan, an 8-ton boiler would be more than sufficient.

Taking Beijing as an example, buildings have insulated walls, and the heat index per unit area for heating is generally set at 70W. In the Hunan region, check whether the buildings have insulated walls; if they do, 50W is sufficient. If not, 60W should be enough, depending on the local average lowest winter temperature
Around 70w should be fine, right?
