What material should be used for the wastewater discharge pipes in benzene analysis?

We are from the laboratory of a coking plant; we found that the PVC pipes used for draining the wastewater resulting from the cleaning of instruments after benzene analysis had been corroded and damaged. The PVC pipes were replaced, but they became corroded and damaged again within less than 3 months. I was wondering if any of you have encountered this situation – what type of material is suitable for sewage pipes? Thank you!
Try polypropylene PP or reinforced PPR pipes.
Was waste oil also discharged through the sewers? We haven’t found any corrosion in the sewers of our company’s cleaning tanks yet
How about trying nylon pipes? They have good resistance to benzene
Just use metal pipes directly, isn’t that enough? What specific analysis tasks does benzene analysis refer to? If there are not many organic solvents present, PVC pipes are suitable; it is definitely the case when the liquid poured into the sewer contains a large amount of organic solvents. In such situations, the material of the pipe should be chosen based on the specific properties of those organic solvents, rather than making general statements based on benzene analysis alone. The analysis of benzene includes gas chromatography to determine its composition, and this type of analysis has little to do with sewer systems.
