It is not allowed to connect the working and protective grounds directly inside the cabinet, as this violates the grounding regulations. It should be connected in this way: the working grounds inside each cabinet are led outside the cabinet respectively and connected to the working ground aggregation panel ; The protective grounds inside each cabinet are separately led outside the cabinet and connected to the protective grounding assembly board. Then, it is connected from the protective grounding assembly board and the working grounding assembly board to a main grounding board, and from there to the overall grounding network.
If they are the same type of power supply (voltage, power frequency), they can be connected together.
Grounding must comply with relevant grounding specifications; the grounding for electrical systems and that for instrumentation and control systems should be separate, although in the end both are connected to the same grounding grid. However, if they are connected together at the site, it may lead to electrical leakage to ground, which could damage the instrumentation and control equipment.
