Does the condensate pipe of the heat exchanger need to be led close to the ground before a valve is installed there?

As the title suggests, the heat exchanger is installed on the floor, with its bottom more than two meters above the ground level. In this case, does it require the condensate pipe to be led about one meter inside the structure first, where a valve can be installed, and then the branch pipe raised to connect to the main pipe?
The valve should be placed in a location that is easy for people to operate; if it can be operated from above, there is no need to run pipes down to it, otherwise pipes can be considered for that purpose.
Strainers need to be cleaned and repaired regularly, and to facilitate maintenance work, they are placed at an appropriate height above the ground or platform.
But if it isn’t led to the ground, how can the operation issues be resolved? After all, there are quite a few valves on the steam trap as well
But if it’s drawn down, there is still one issue: the final branch pipe needs to be connected to the main pipe, which will result in a U-shaped liquid reservoir. How can this be solved? Is adding more fluid sufficient?
If that’s the case, the elevation of the check valve is lowered to facilitate operation, but this will result in the formation of a liquid pocket – will adding Dowlin be sufficient to solve this issue?
Adding a drain valve is fine; under normal circumstances, a steam trap + bypass valve + inlet and outlet isolation valves should be installed, with a drain valve placed between the inlet isolation valve and the steam trap.
