Dear brothers and sisters, I have a question I’d like to ask you all. As shown in the figure below, what type of mixer is this? And why is the mixer placed on top instead of being inserted at the bottom? I’d like to thank everyone first!
In mixing design, the mixing impeller is placed below the liquid surface; there must be associated accessories used in conjunction with it within the tank, otherwise the flow field distribution will not be adequate and the mixing effect will not be achieved.
There are no images, so it’s not possible to see, but generally there is a baffle inside the tank to change the direction of fluid flow.
Please show the image so that everyone can make a judgment. Generally, mixers move forward from above and from the side, right?
If it’s a regular mixer, it’s all pushed in from the top； There’s no need for an explanation: use pushing methods whenever possible!
