Today, we aligned a pump using both mechanical and electrical methods; the radial deviation was 0.05 mm and the axial deviation was 0.01 mm, with normal temperature levels. The seismologists, in the course of their measurements, found that the vibration at the motor’s drive end was 33 mm/s, while it was 14 mm/s at the non-drive end – values that are well above the acceptable limits. Further inspections revealed that the motor frame also vibrated significantly vertically relative to the ground (12 mm/s). Could this be due to an improper construction of the base? Did the person who disassembled the motor electrically replace the bearings? Could it be that the bearings were installed in the wrong direction or that the motor shaft is misaligned too much?
Please send over your assembly data, such as the fit dimensions between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft, the fit dimensions between the outer ring of the bearing and the bearing housing, the fit between the bearing housing cover and the outer ring of the bearing, the axial movement of the rotor, and the fit between the rotor and the stator. Data is needed in order to make an accurate assessment
The pump didn’t move; only the packing was replaced
It is recommended to look for the causes in the construction and installation quality of the anchor bolts.
This is a broken pump from the water plant; in the past, those people just messed around with it, and vibration was never measured before either
Rotate the motor alone to rule out vibrations caused by the motor itself. The motor is functioning properly; check the installation and disassemble the working pump if necessary.
You can try loosening all the bolts on the motor base to ensure that the motor is free to move, and then try starting it separately. When the Jiamusi motor was brought to us for testing, it was verified that there was nothing wrong with the motor
