As the title suggests: What is the relationship between the number of operation stations in the central control room (displays that overlap with each other) and the instrument control circuits? What determines the typical number of operation stations? How many instrument control circuits are there? 100 control loops, how many operation stations should be set up? Will 4 monitors stacked vertically and horizontally be sufficient? ? Will 6 monitors stacked vertically and horizontally be sufficient? ? Automatic control instruments
What does 100 circuits mean? Is a workstation the computer used for DCS operation? (Come and learn*learn*! )

The operation station has no inherent connection to the control circuits; as many control circuits exist, that many controller pairs need to be configured. The number of operation stations depends on the convenience of the process control interface; this can be determined by the process engineers, who can decide how many stations are needed to meet the operational requirements. At least two are required to prevent production from getting out of control in the event that one fails. Generally speaking, the operation station is also a node of the system, and systems often have a limit on the number of nodes; selections must be made in accordance with this basic principle.
If process engineers are asked to determine this, it’s possible that many operation stations will be required; in fact, one operation station might even be needed for each operation screen There’s not that much space in the central control room to fit it all
The operation station is determined by the process operations, and it has no direct connection to the control circuit.
One screen per control station? That only shows that you’re too rich and have an excess of operators. Hehe. 100 control loops – 3 dual-screen operation stations are sufficient; multiple screens can be displayed on a single screen with page-turning-style operations. It’s just necessary to explain the reasoning to the operator – it’s not possible to add as much as one wants.
Display on the operator station in the central control room
It depends on the technology used; it is necessary to monitor which operation interfaces at the same time. Ordinary operation stations can be configured to display all the operation interfaces, so the number of such stations is determined by the customer themselves

Sulfur recovery unit, nearly 100 control points, two DCS systems – one on the upper screen and one on the lower one! Additionally, one screen each for the plant interlock system and the monitoring system!
