Issues regarding the fixation of the self-priming pump base to the equipment foundation

Hello everyone. Over the past two years, I have come across vertical self-priming pumps or small horizontal fans quite often. The manufacturers of these vertical self-priming pumps insist that their pumps do not require a base for fixation; some of them have steel bases, while others use non-metallic bases for everything except the motor. In my opinion, it is difficult to fix such pumps, and in actual operation, vibration and displacement are inevitable. I wonder if anyone else has encountered similar situations – is what the manufacturers say realistic? If fixation is required, how can non-metallic bases be fixed? Is it necessary to add more vibration isolation pads? After fixing, is grouting still needed?
It’s better to use fixed ones, such as anchor bolts for non-metallic bases; the vertical pumps I have here all have rubber pads under their non-metallic bases. Small pumps don’t require grouting, right?
There must be vibrations; if they are not controlled, it can damage the inlet and outlet pipes, and the resulting vibrations can further damage the pump or even cause it to break apart!
