Is it in P11.0 FAIL-POS? (This function is used to activate the safety positions preset by the factory; it is a mandatory function that is always ACTIVE.)； INACTIVE: Activate and disable? ) The default setting is to have the safe position disabled. Does disabling the safe position mean that fail-safe functionality is prohibited? In other words, is the default setting one that enables fail-safe locking? When the locator loses power, the valve remains in a locked state and keeps its current position. Is this parameter setting intended for fault locking and safety purposes?
To meet the process requirements, the ABB positioner has its fail-safe and fail-lock functions adjusted in the IP nozzle assembly. Fail-lock keeps the current state when there is no signal, while fail-safe returns to the initial state quickly in such situations. One of these functions is selected at the time of ordering, and they cannot be used interchangeably. When replacing the IP, it should be noted that changes can be made by pressing confirm for 3 seconds in P11; however, this must match the settings of the IP
