Are all the designs these days shit? ? . . . . . . Insulating the capillary tube – that’s hilarious.
Everyone is rushing to complete the work; the design was started before all the necessary information was gathered, and no one paid any attention to that sentence in the product sample.
The silicone oil used inside – I remember there are types that can withstand temperatures around minus 30 degrees; so why doesn’t it work below 10 degrees?
Silicone oil with a temperature range of 10-315 degrees was selected, and the liquid level at room temperature was measured. . . . . .
It is estimated that the level of the steam condensate tank is being measured (in reality, water is what is being measured). Since the design temperature exceeds 260 degrees, high-temperature silicone oil has to be used; however, high-temperature silicone oil does not perform well at low temperatures. For operating temperatures below 200 degrees, ordinary silicone oil (-30 degrees) can be used, and there is no need to worry about the design temperature. For steam at pressures above 260, a conventional transmitter together with heating is sufficient; there is no need to use capillaries just to eliminate the need for heating. If the temperature at the owner’s location is below -10 degrees, it is likely that insulating the capillary won’t help either; the result will be a very slow response from the transmitter. . . @jiaguoyun
It’s not a capillary—10 can’t be used! There’s a problem with your selection! It’s -25 right now for us! No problem with normal use! If you need high precision! Prevent errors in silicone oil density due to temperature! It is recommended that you choose an electronic level gauge! The intermediate capillary has been replaced by a dedicated cable for signal transmission! One header at the top and one at the bottom! Signals are transmitted using a dedicated cable in between! Absolutely accurate! ! !
We encounter this situation as well; generally, before the temperature drops to -10°C, we wrap some cotton yarn or fibers around the capillary, and then remove that wrap after winter. There are many unexpected things at the scene; with a bit of thinking and some action, they can be resolved – there’s no need to get too stressed about it.
Floor 9 is supported; there’s no need to make a big deal out of it.
Heat tracing is excessive; insulation is adequate. The selection was made without sufficient consideration.
It won’t laugh. We’ve done this before as well, but it’s not absolute – not having it covered won’t have a big impact, as long as the silicone oil inside doesn’t solidify
